Deep, dark walnut is a favourite of mine.

All my handles are finished with several coats of sealing oil.

Tungsten carbide is extremely hard and resistant to corrosion, because of this, it's also brittle. It will not bend, so don't try. It will break if dropped on a hard surface, I keep mine in a box with a foam base to keep them safe.

Please don't use any harsh cleaning products on your new trimming tool, warm water and a soft cloth is plenty.
